- Maintain Good Standing with State PTA
- Assist in setting budget
- Assure budget is being followed
- Work with PLE on events calendar
- Attend events and support committee chairs as needed
- Set PTA meeting agenda
- Main point of contact/check email account
- Attend district counsel meetings

Vice-President
Raven Heninger

- Assist President as needed
- Compile & Distribute Student Directory
- Oversee Fall/Valentines Parties
- Maintain Social Media/design and publish PLE PTA website
- Secondary point of contact/check email account
- Coordinate and Support Events and Committees as needed

Treasurer
Jamie Bergland
- Manage/oversee all financial activities of the unit
- Reimburse chair members/teachers as needed
- Monitor fundraising activities (Tiger Trot/Carnival)
- Report on financial activities of unit at monthly meetings/keep books
- Assist President in keeping unit in Good Standing
- Distribute Tax Exempt Letter to chairs

Secretary

- Attend and take minutes at monthly meeting. Distribute to members.

Historian
Stephanie Smith
- Contact Pearce Photography for yearbook contract.
- Review with yearbook contracts President
- Create Yearbook
- Assist with group Picture Day
- Sort & Distribute yearbooks
- Sell remaining yearbooks on the last week of school
Events & Committees
Meet the Teachers: Set-up and work table during event to solicate volunteers and increase membership.
Membership Chair: Responsible for PTA membership which includes collecting dues and providing incentives to increase membership. Work table at meet the teacher/school picnic. Send membership numbers to Treasurer.
Spirit Wear: Contact Birchhouse Co. to design T-shirts. They will post PLE spirit wear online and deliver directly to school. Create Flyer.
Boo-Hoo Yahoo Breakfast: Breakfast is to welcome new kindergarten parents to PLE. Chair is responsible for distributing flyer, ordering refreshments and set-up in library. This is a grab and go event.
All School Picnic: Picnic is to kick-off the start of the school year and get acquainted with other PLE families. Chair is responsible for distributing flyer, organizing volunteers, buying food & cooking hotdogs, set-up and tear-down of picnic.
Pastries with Pals: Before School Event. Chair is responsible for distributing flyer, soliciting food donations, organizing volunteers to serve food, set-up and tear down of event.
School Store: Chair is responsible for distributing flyer, purchasing supplies, organizing volunteers and helping student leaders run the store on Tuesday mornings from 8:45-9:15am. Make deposits as needed.
Bingo with Buddies: An afterschool event to showcase family friends. Chair is responsible for distributing flyers, organizing volunteers, getting family to run Bingo event, purchase refreshments/decor for the evening.
Kindergarten Kickoff: TBD
Hospitality: Provide teachers with lunches/treats throughout the year to include: Stock the Lounge (beginning and conferences); Conference Dinner, Back from Break Breakfast, Holiday treat and Teacher Appreciation Week. Also provide gift for Bus Driver Appreciation Week, Custodians Week, etc.
Beautification: TBD
Fall Party/Valentine’s Party: Create Flyer and organize games, bounce house, volunteers and small treat for joint party in gym.
Tiger Trot: Coordinate the fundraiser from generating flyers, collecting money and organizing prizes.
Carnival: Organize and Coordinate the School Carnival: This is usually divided among 4 people: Volunteers, Games/Prizes, Concessions, Wristbands.
Field Day: Coordinate Snow Cones for Board to distribute. Order bounce house. Contact Mrs. Haines for any additional needs she may have.
5th Grade Parent: Run Lemonade Stand at School Picnic, Organize Culver’s Night, Host 5th Grade Picnic, Find “younger” board member for 5th Grade Celebration.
Talent Show/Ice Cream Social: An afterschool event to showcase grade 3-5 talent. Chair is responsible for coordinating volunteers and purchasing/getting donations for individual ice cream treats/decorations.
