Why Join the PTA?
Joining the PTA does NOT require any time commitment from you. Though membership does not require any time commitment, we welcome members of our PLE family to join us for any of our monthly PTA meetings. Volunteers are always needed and very much appreciated at events throughout the school year. We welcome our PLE families to be as involved as they can or want to be. By paying only $15.00 per family each academic year, you will get access to the school directory; which is very helpful for class lists and establishing connections with other families. **Please note: the directory is not compiled or distributed by Pleasant Lea Elementary; it is a PTA product, and is therefore only distributed to paying dues members.
Your $15.00 dues will be deposited into the PLE PTA's funds which, among other things, is used to provide fun, FREE family events throughout the school year, funding class parties and trips, and assisting with "stocking the lounge" for our wonderful teachers. The PTA helps bridge the gap wherever needed.
Joining is quick and easy - sign-up via PayPal or Venmo, AND complete the Google Form. **Please note: if you do not complete the Google Form, we will not know where to attribute your dues or be able to provide you with the directory.

What you can expect from us
Transparency:
Prior to all PTA meetings, an agenda will be provided. Following the meeting, approved final meeting minutes will also be provided.
Accessibility:
The PLE PTA is committed to providing our school community with various fun family events throughout the school year that are free, or of minimal cost.
Support:
We are happy to support PLE's hardworking teachers and staff. Our amazing students, teachers, and staff are what make us PLE PROUD!
